Fernando Berdion Del Valle
Fernando Berdion Del Valle is a Research Specialist at the Norman Lear Center. His research portfolio focuses on evaluating the efficacy of public diplomacy and human rights media campaigns. Fernando previously worked as a researcher and Fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University where he investigated Latin American contributions to the development of global human rights norms as well as the emerging idea of Internet connectivity as a human right. Fernando also has experience in the social media industry and in interest in social media policy: he previously led intellectual property operations for Latin America and Spain for Facebook Inc. He holds a MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and an AB in Government from Harvard College.
